School just started this week and so I don’t know how often I will be able to post, I will try to be somewhat active because I know I’m still spending a lot of time buying stuff! I left my cleanser at home so I decided to go out a drugstore to buy a new one. I really love my Clinique cleanser but I honestly would feel bad if I spent another $15 on one when I have a new one sitting at home somewhere. I’m also running out of my Olay moisturizer, and since the new formulation of the Olay moisturizers aren’t that great, I decided that I would buy a new moisturizer as well!
Bottom line: Forced to try out a new skincare regimen!

I picked up the Aveeno Positively Radiant Makeup Removing Cleanser because I always have had a good impression of Aveeno. Besides, it was only around $6.99 and a lot cheaper than if I were to buy my usual Clinique cleanser. I will definitely have a review up after I have used this for a few weeks! I also picked up the the Merlot Grapeseed Moisturizer w/ SPF 15. I have heard many great reviews for this product and I decided I would try it out – it did turn out to be pretty expensive though, I believe the product was priced at $15. I probably read the sign wrong while at Walgreens because I had initially thought it was for $5.99, but at least I got a free travel-size mini out of it. I couldn’t find the SPF 30 Olay moisturizer in the store for some odd reason and Merlot was the only other moisturizer in the store that uses zinc oxide instead of avobenzene.

I also picked up the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder at CVS for $8.99. There are many great reviews about its oil control, so I decided to give it a go! I’ll review it as soon as I can!

I’m always happy to receive things in the mail on time, especially if I have ordered them! Today’s haul consists of Missha products! I ordered this barely a week ago and I’m very happy that it came so quickly – albeit the person I ordered it from lives in the same county as me. =P Thank you kimnvy from Soompi for being such a great seller!
What did I purchase? I didn’t buy much, I restocked on my Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream because the one I am using is running out. This is definitely my HG BB cream and it is such a pity that I use it up so fast all the time! If you are interested, check out my review of it to see why I think its so awesome! I also bought the Missha M BB Boomer – which is supposed to be a BB cream primer. I will post my review of this soon along with the Skinfood product reviews!

I’ve been itching to buy stuff and waiting as patiently as I could for this package to come! Retail therapy is always nice to have, since it helps keep a girl sane when all other aspects of her life has gone down the drain. I bought this two weeks ago from mstar, a soompi seller who was kind enough to do a personal order for me. Considering the products came all the way from Korea – two weeks is reasonable. My orders from Sasa (HK) usually take around the same time, sometimes a little shorter.
From left to right, top to bottom, I bought:
Parsley and Mandarin Toner (For Troubled Skin)
Parsley and Mandarin Emulsion (For Troubled Skin)
Peach Sake Pore Serum
SAMPLES!!
Seeing the samples that came with the packages really made me happy.
The samples that I have include: Broccoli Sun Cream SPF 42 PA+++, Agave Cactus Toner, Agave Cactus Emulsion, Orange & Mint Body Wash and Salmon Brightening Eye Serum. Yay for the eye serum since I’ll probably need it – if I ever stop crying. My poor eyes. T_T
I will do review of these products after I’ve gotten the chance to use these products for two or three weeks, so be on the lookout if you’re a Skinfood fanatic or are interested!

I actually received this package on Monday, but I’ve been busy fighting depression and failing my biochemistry midterm this week – so I’ll just do updates this weekend and see how life goes from there.
Yes, its Coastal Scents! I made an order because their reduced sale prices and free shipping over 50$ was impossible to ignore. I mainly wanted new brushes and I ordered a couple for my older sister too, so not everything is mine. Just mostly. I might give a review of some of these brushes, although probably not on the blending and eyeshadow ones. I never think that there’s much to say about brushes – either they work or they suck. And Coastal Scents brushes definitely are top-notch!
Among the brushes that I received were:
Black Deluxe Shadow ($2.49)
Black Sable Shadow ($1.95)
Chisel Fluff/Pointed Crease Duet ($3.95) – not mine, gave to sister
Chisel Fluff Medium Shadow Brush ($2.75)
Pink Blending Fluff Brush ($1.99)
Pink Oval Fluff Shadow Brush ($1.95)
Pink Kabuki Brush ($4.99)
Deluxe Buffer Brush ($7.95)
Being the newb I am to make-up, I honestly can’t really tell which brush is which anymore – most of them are blending or eyeshadow brushes. Although I did get another pink kabuki to replace my old one. I also bought the flat-top buffer brush for kicks. I wanted to see how the coverage would be if I applied my mineral make-up using that instead of the kabuki.
I was also sucked into buying the 88 Piece Makeup Palette for $18.95 (on sale!). That’s 88 eyeshadows that I can play around with when I’m feeling like a girl.
I’ll put up my own review of the palette once I’ve gotten the chance to use some of the colors! I’ll let you know how well it stays and most importantly, how the colors look!

Hello~! I figured I might as well start off the blog with my most recent skincare haul worth a whopping 75$ (free shipping!) from Sasa. For those of you who may not know, Sasa is a beauty and healthcare franchise in Asia – much like Sephora is in America. I generally order in bulk from this website once a year on things that would cost a lot more if I bought them individually here in America.
The main purpose of this haul was to stock up on more oil-blotting sheets, because for an oily skinned person like me, I can’t live without them!
Look under the cut for a full summary of the products that I bought! Look forward to the reviews in the future!
